In addition to these products, with the new investments, spare parts for the automotive industry, Casting Manhole Covers and Casting Channel Grates are produced. Inductotherm Steel Shell melting furnaces are manufactured differently from other manufacturers. The whole outer body is manufactured from wide platinum steel sheet, with large maintenance windows and support belts. In order to prevent the body from heating up from the magnetic field of the coil, the silicon steel shunts that direct the magnetic current surround 65 – 70% of the coil’s circumference.
Energy hoses are connected to the coil from the sides of the stove and work safely and without any problems. The furnace coil is manufactured from a thick-section electrolytic copper tube. A more rigid construction is provided by placing the coil directly on the furnace floor and mounting it with stainless steel studs from one end to the other between the high alumina cast refractory blocks at the top. Coils are coated with special Inductoflex, providing high insulation ability and hot metal resistance.
